A Bio-Individual Approach for Nutrition

Did you know that your body has specific nutritional needs and, therefore, you should consider a bio-individual approach? Just because your best friend does well eating a certain way does NOT mean it is right for you. Some individuals have trouble digesting sugars or more specifically, lactose or fructose.

  • Some individuals may be sensitive to certain carbohydrates

  • Some individuals may struggle to digest fat

  • Some individuals may be sensitive to specific amino acids

  • Some individuals may be sensitive to oxalates, sulfur, or salicylates

So, next time your bestie tells you to try X, Y, or Z because of how great it works, please know your body is different and you need to take a bio-individual approach.
