She has been consistently putting in the time during quarantine, and has been getting to the 6:00 am class every day. It can be difficult to achieve this, but Connie let's us in on her thoughts and how she maintains this positive mindset. Hopefully Connie's determination can serve as motivation for you and help you to embrace the changes you need to make in your daily routine to achieve your goals. Q: 6:00 AM is a tough time slot to make every morning, how many days a week do you take class and how do you stay consistent? A: I attend class 5 days a week Monday-Friday at 6 AM. I find early morning classes are great for me, I am half asleep and too tired to come up with an excuse not to go.

Summer Time Smoothie

INGREDIENTS ½ ripe avocado, pitted, peeled ½ cup baby spinach or coarsely chopped Tuscan kale ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks ¼ cup coarsely chopped coconut meat or coconut flakes 1 cup coconut water or coconut milk 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder (optional-great for some energy in the morning) 1 tablespoon light agave nectar or other sweetener (optional) Pinch of kosher salt INSTRUCTIONS Blend ingredients and ½ cup ice in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!
