However, the recruitment process can also be daunting, especially if it’s your first time navigating it. There are numerous factors outside a family’s control that can impact the experience, making it feel overwhelming.

Madison Doucette - Professional Lacrosse Player

​High School Career (Unionville High School)

  • Four-year varsity athlete and team captain

  • Two-time US Lacrosse All-American

  • 2018 PASLA Student-Athlete of the Year, PASLA ChesMont Conference American League MVP, Under Armour All-American Senior Game Selection, UHS Outstanding Senior Athlete

  • Three-time All-ChesMont Conference First Team honors; named second team as a freshman

  • Two-time US Lacrosse Academic All-American

  • Two-time HLA Finalist

  • Three-time DLN All Area Girls Lacrosse

  • National Honor Society and National AP Scholar student

  • Played club lacrosse for Ultimate Lacrosse

  • Also played varsity ice hockey for four years, serving as team captain for three years

  • Compiled 238 points (150 goals, 88 assists) in just 64 games played

  • Three-time Hockey Player of the Year and Flyers Cup Bobby Clark MVP

  • Four-time Flyers Cup leading scorer

  • Also played volleyball for one season

Collegiate Career at Northwestern (2019-2022)

  • Four-year letter winner, starting 40 of 50 games

  • Registered 336 saves with a .407 save percentage

  • Led the Wildcats to NCAA Championship Weekend appearances in 2021 and 2022

  • Ranked second in the Big Ten Conference with 166 saves as a senior

  • Tied Northwestern's single-game record with 16 saves against Michigan on March 26, 2022

  • Led the Big Ten with an 11.06 goals against average during her junior campaign

  • Two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree and three-time Academic All-Big Ten notice

Graduate Career at Johns Hopkins (2023-2024)

  • Starter in all 20 games as a graduate student

  • Achieved a .453 save percentage and 10.96 goals against average

  • Guided the Blue Jays to an NCAA Tournament appearance

  • Registered 10 or more saves in nine games, including a season-high 19 stops against Maryland on April 10, 2024

  • Tallied 14 saves against Stony Brook and Penn.

International Experience

  • Selected to represent Team USA in the 2019 U-19 World Championship

  • Led the United States to a Gold medal with 25 saves over seven games

  • Recorded five ground balls and a caused turnover, guiding Team USA to a perfect 7-0 record

2024 Season

  • Selected in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse College Draft.

  • Current member of the US National Box Lacrosse Training Team

  • Member for the 2022 US Women’s National Sixes Lacrosse Team, silver medalist at the 2022 World Games

  • Daughter of Amy and Gary Doucette

  • Father played ice hockey at Miami University

  • Brother, Phillipe, plays ice hockey at Arizona State

  • Enrolled in the Carey Business School
